Openstack中网络模块子网中的Host Routes的作用是什么？求大神指教

Openstack 中创建网络，在子网创建中 Host Routes项中填写正确，但是这项起的作用是什么？我试了一下，好像没有起什么作用？对网络通信没有影响 子网中的Host Routes的作用 --------------------编程问答-------------------- 格式

该字段解释
Routes that should be used by devices with IPs from this subnet (not including local subnet route).
使用这个子网IP的设备需要使用的路由信息
使用地方
1 bigswitch   /plugins/bigswitch/restproxy.ini  add_meta_server_route 使用到每上线一个VM
  想特定IP  METADATA_SERVER_IP + '/32' 创建一个路由
2 midonet 和nirica 组网是也有用两个跟DHCP有关
上面是看代码所得没有时间网络管理经验，host_routes的使用依赖与2层插件对他的使用
