That's a long tale.....Search this forum for VBA, EXCEL, OLE.As for mainframes, it depends on the make, but you will need a mainframe terminal emulator such as Rumba (although that's not the one I used to use - been so long I've forgotten the name....)Most of these emulators can be controlled via OLE (so they can be control from VB) but more to the point can be controlled directly from SAP as they are OLE Servers.As for the coding involved, well you need to know what products you will be using before you can even think about that..
