Cogpot Innovations, an early-stage startup company based in California is looking to set up a branch in Hangzhou, China. With fresh ideas and strong funding, we are searching for talented and experienced software engineers to form the software team. We invite all creative and motivated individuals that are flexible, resourceful and can adapt quickly to new projects!
Our current project is a web-based healthcare service that is able to organize uploaded images into dynamic configurations to present them in a timeline format, with more details available on demand. Compatibility will initially be for traditional web browsers, and eventually expand to cell phone browsers and desktop gadgets / widgets. Future projects will include the continuous pursuit of small web-based programs to help people’s daily lives, traditional website development for small businesses, and any other interesting projects you may have in mind!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members in website design and the development of web applications
- Remain updated on new software advancements
- Keep your supervisors updated on progress
- Propose new projects for the company
Qualifications:
- Experienced in developing dynamic websites and web applications
- Working knowledge of scripting languages: Python, PHP, JavaScript
- Proficient in HTML, CSS and associated tools (Dreamweaver, etc)
- Experience working with Unix systems
- Experience with software development practices: code versioning, releasing, etc
- Conversation-level English
